Cell Care Collection Companion app for iPhone and iPad

The Cell Care Collection Companion is available exclusively for clients utilising a Cell Care Collector and is used in conjunction with our dedicated Labour Line during the labour and birth process. In the app, you can enter information about your individual birth choices and collection requirements, find out more about the Collection Service, learn how your baby’s blood and tissue are collected and understand what your Collector will do. There are handy checklists, information for your midwife and doctor, ‘on the day’ advice and important emergency care ensuring you are well prepared for the collection. We’ve included tools for labour: a handy contraction timer and dilation tracker to support you through the cord blood collection journey. The Cell Care Collection Companion is a unique resource for Cell Care families storing their newborn baby’s precious cord blood and tissue stem cells. Cell Care clients entrust the collection of their baby’s cord blood and tissue to our experienced and highly trained cord blood and tissue collectors, who on average deliver 17% higher cord blood volumes than non-Cell Care Collectors. Labour and birth can be unpredictable. Your doctor or midwife will make the care of you and your baby their absolute priority during birth. For Cell Care Collectors, cord blood and tissue collection is their priority. The sole emphasis of the Cell Care Collector is collecting the greatest volume of cord blood and tissue. This ensures parents are more likely to have an optimum collection, no matter the circumstances.
